He went on and on, relentlessly, about the desensitization process, how I could benefit from it, gain relief from my emotional struggles and pain, and in turn, abate some of my physical pain as well. The SparrowThe Sparrow

Cold and alone on a clear, starless night,
I looked to the skies for a glint of light.
Wind whipping my hair, biting my skin.
A clear, black sky, but not a star within.

And then I see it flash through the sky,
On my feet to chase it before it goes by.
But what is this? A bird bathed in light.
A sparrow with a star, flying by night.

I could hear the faint chirps, the nearer I drew,
Thinking, "surely, your eyes are deceiving you."
Nothing left to this Earth but fire and ash
And little children wishing for stars to pass.

But this sparrow was special, why I don't know,
But he'd captured that star, with it's twinkling glo

Bored, and started playing with a bunch of different fonts and one of my favorite teal color palettes. This was the outcome. This also happens to be one of my favorites quotes, as well as favorite artist.

I was also inspired to create one of these by this blog that I found which was full of lovely quotes and typography posters.
